The number of laborers of 2022 was 277,000, including 159,000 men and 118,000 women in the labor force; compared with the county’s civil population of people aged older than 15, the labor force participation rate was 59.30%, which can be divided into male labor force participation accounting for 66.50%, and the female labor force participation accounting for 51.80%.
The number of employed people was 267,000, with 153,000 male employees accounting for 57.30% and 114,000 female employees accounting for 42.70%. In terms of employment in the industry classification, the industry employed 127,786 people accounting for 47.86%, which ranked the largest; the service industry employed 124,849 people accounting for 46.76%, which ranked second; the agriculture, forestry, fishing, and animal husbandry industries employed 14,365 people accounting for 5.38%, which ranked third.
The number of unemployed was 10,000, including 6,000 men and 4,000 women. The unemployment rate was 3.60%; the unemployment rate of men was 3.70%, and 3.50% for women.
