The budget for annual receipts from subsidy and financial assistance income was NT$11,619,628,000 accounting for 50.05%, the largest amount of the national total; while tax revenue was NT$10,740,026,000 accounting for 46.26%, which ranked the second largest; and the income from fines and compensation was NT$301,743,000 accounting for 1.30%, which ranked third.
The budget for annual expenditures on education, science, and culture was NT$8,175,861,000 accounting for 35.57%, the highest amount; the general and administrative expenditure was NT$5,085,218,000 accounting for 22.12%; which ranked the second largest; social welfare expenditure was NT$3,263,693,000 accounting for 14.20%, which ranked third.
