- Indigenous Economic Development Section
- Overseeing tribal infrastructure development in indigenous areas.
- Implementing safety and disaster prevention measures in indigenous communities.
- Improving basic environmental infrastructure in indigenous areas.
- Managing public construction projects related to the development, utilization, and operation of indigenous lands.
- Reporting on soil and water conservation in lands reserved for indigenous peoples.
- Regulating the management of hillside lands within indigenous reserved areas to prevent misuse.
- Ethnic Development Section
- Planning, coordinating, and reviewing policies and regulations related to the county's indigenous economy, tourism, finance, cooperation, and public enterprises.
- Administering reforestation incentive plans, logging ban compensation plans, and bamboo forest renewal incentive plans, applications for the extraction and transport of timber and bamboo from public and private forests, and handling violations of forestry acts with regards to the lands reserved for indigenous peoples (Taian Township, Nanzhuang Township, and Shitan Township).
- Executing professional projects for new immigrants, case management, activity support, and course training through the New Immigrant Family Service Center, as well as providing assistance funds to families facing difficulties and operating new immigrants' service centers.
- Administering housing purchase and renovation subsidies for economically disadvantaged indigenous people, funded by the Council of Indigenous Peoples.
- Managing subsidies from the Ministry of Economic Affairs for petroleum facilities and transportation costs in remote, indigenous, and outlying islands, along with other gas subsidy related affairs.
