Dong Fengli, the troupe’s founder, is a famous expert in children's art education in Taiwan. Her introduction to children's drama began during research abroad. She then established Cup Theater, which commenced ticketed performances in 1986. She aims to provide children with a richer life experience through the performance of plays.

“The Legend of Aunt Tigress” is a children's play about “school bullying” and “interpersonal relationships.” The story revolves around Aunt Tigress and her son, who reside in the forest. Due to his Little Tiger’s unique identity, he is not popular at school and is often bullied by other kids. Rumors circulate that Little Tiger’s mother, Aunt Tigress, actually bites people, leading to Little Tiger having to move and transfer schools frequently. Nevertheless, Little Tiger wishes all his new classmates would become his good friends. To make Little Tiger’s wish come true, Aunt Tigress decides to host a fun party for him and invites all his classmates to their house. Unfortunately, nobody wants to go to the party. Aunt Tigress then has a clever idea. She disguises herself as Santa Claus, sending gifts to everyone to bring joy and please everybody. Subsequent events unfold, leading everyone to finally realize that they shouldn’t spread rumors.

We cordially invite all adults and children to join us in watching “The Legend of Aunt Tigress” and experience the wonderful performance presented by Cup Theater.
