The Miaoli County Government is promoting a “factory tour“ and the “Storyland of Miaoli County’s Industries” actively along with local foods, featured stores, and sightseeing spots in Zhunan, Toufen, Houlong, and Zaoqiao townships. These are downstream of the Jhonggang River and the “Miaoli Golden Travel” food and leisure area has been specially built for the event. Moreover, the “Miaoli Nanzhuang Shisan Creative Old Street” was built in this well-known relaxed city to demonstrate local cultures and customs, and provide the tourists who visit Miaoli with more choices.
The charming mountain town enjoys great natural advantages. It is surrounded by mountains whose fields are fertilized and hills that spread all along the way to form an abundant landscape. Tourists can truly feel the relaxing, slow atmosphere here while enjoying Hakka and indigenous people’s cultures.
