In response to the public’s attention to issues such as physical and mental health, inner exploration, sustainability, and common good in the post-epidemic era, the Culture and Tourism Bureau, Miaoli County, has combined the resources of the "Community Building and Village Culture Development Project" promoted by the Ministry of Culture, and is launching the "24+ Art Time in Life" and "Art Accompanying Talent Development Project" as a series of activities starting from November 18.

This year there are six sessions of art accompanying talent development courses and a performance to promote the development of lifelong learning and talent through multiple art creation forums. Through workshops, participants can develop their "aesthetic appreciation + creativity expression + artistic experience sharing" skills, and experience the fun of art creation in person. They will not only visit local communities to accompany residents, but will also experience art creation and interaction. Through real-world experience, they can truly understand the ways of art to accompany themselves and others, and develop local art accompanying experience and talent.

The six art accompanying talent development theme courses will be held on November 18, 19, 25, and 26, and December 5 and 6. The Creative Director of Laojia Art Space, Chen Peng-wen, the Director of the Firstory Program, Xu Tao-zhen, the Social Worker Supervisor of the Garden of Hope Foundation Miaoli Branch, Lai Pei-yu, teacher of Somatic Education, Huang Xin-tian, and lecturer of Handmade Incense Sticks, Zheng Li-bao, are also invited to instruct the courses. The themed courses include picture book introduction, accompanying, guidance, and sharing; the youth of Miaoli County accompanying, guiding, and sharing; family-friendly physical activities and playgroup guidance and sharing; handmade incense sticks meditation, guidance, and sharing, art accompanying design and practice; and Xiong-yu art. Participants will enjoy a deeper understanding of art accompanying diversity while caring for themselves and the local community. Through group learning, they will also be able to create a living atmosphere that is more inclusive, friendly, and equal.

Lin Yan-fu, the Director of the Culture and Tourism Bureau, Miaoli County, stated that the promotion theme of the project is "24+ Art Time in Life". "24+" represents 24 hours in a day. Due to the involvement of "art companying" in daily life, 24 hours per day, feelings towards life can also differ. "Art accompanying" signifies the innovative experience it brings to people in their daily lives.

"Art accompanying" is the core workshop used to design the great lectures mentioned above. The lecturers will not only share the practical methods of "art accompanying" applied in their professional fields, but also the influence of "art companying" to offer Miaoli County more in-depth artistic literacy. Those who are interested in the activity can sign up online (https://forms.gle/142QbfBUspHLMgk48) now. All are welcome to join and become a co-promoter of the "Art Accompanying Talent Development Project".
