The "Zhongshan 168" Youth Start-up Hub, located in Warehouse No.2 at Taiwan Railway Zhunan Station, hosted a two-day "What a Life in Zhunan?" event on November 9 and 10. The weekend event featured an indoor arts and culture market and a movie night, drawing on cultural and creative brands from Taipei, Taoyuan, Miaoli, Nantou, and Yunlin. On November 9, Miaoli County Magistrate Chung Tung-chin made a special appearance to cheer on the young entrepreneurs and expressed his gratitude for their contributions to revitalizing their hometown.

Magistrate Chung toured the market with the event organizers, listening to the story behind the establishment of "Zhongshan 168." He greeted the young entrepreneurs at their booths, learned about their products, and enjoyed tea while listening to performances by Hakka youth singers. He expressed his delight at participating in the "What a Life in Zhunan?" event at this vibrant and creative hub. "It is truly heartening to see so many passionate and creative young people coming together," he said. "Your energy and enthusiasm are the driving forces behind local innovation and development."

Magistrate Chung emphasized that culture and creativity cannot be measured in monetary terms and require government support. He encouraged the artists present and suggested that Hakka singers incorporate written lyrics into their performances to help audiences better understand their songs. He also shared his vision for the future of the Northern Miaoli area, touching on plans for urban spaces, experimental schools, social housing, and entrepreneurial support. He concluded by expressing his hope that everyone embody the spirit of the event by cherishing their hometown and living well.
