The third Taiwan Miaoli Music & Dine Festival, jointly organized by the Miaoli County Government and other non-governmental tourism operators, will be held at Zhunan Sports Park from Dec. 27-29, and everyone is welcome!
Miaoli County Magistrate, Hsu Yao-chang, has highlighted the many tourism opportunities in Miaoli, such as Taiwan Romantic Route 3, the dual slow city in Miaoli, and craft brands in wood carving, ceramics and weaving. December is truly a good time for picking strawberries and soaking in the hot spring. The Miaoli County Government, greatly assisted by the Miaoli County Tourism Association, non-governmental organizations and tour operators, and supported by the Tourism Bureau, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the Taiwan Power Company and the CPC Corporation Taiwan, have hosted the Taiwan Miaoli Music and Dine Festival since 2017 to promote Miaoli County and organize festivals and tourist activities. It has been successful in highlighting activities for music appreciation, market visits and food tasting, and increasing the popularity of Miaoli as a tourism brand.
Director of the Culture and Tourism Bureau, Lin Yen-fu, states that the content of this year’s Taiwan Miaoli Music & Dine Festival is rich and diverse. At the “Jazz Themed Concert” on Dec. 27, you can also see a lively and dynamic dance performed by the attractive LamiGirls, in addition to enjoying music performed by the Person Jazz and Ding Jazz Band. All this makes for a relaxing evening. The activities during the day of Dec. 28 will be provided by local musicians and various music groups will perform at the “Popular Music Concert” at night. The rock band 831 (the Last Day of Summer/831), have been specially invited to play in Miaoli with A-team, the Men Envy Children Band, LamiGirls and the Dong Dong Band. During the day of Dec. 29, there will be interactive parent-child games and community and school performances to showcase the most wonderful art and culture of Miaoli.
In addition to exciting activities, a hundred stalls for food, agricultural products and a “Miaoli Youth Market”, organized by local young men, will be set up for the three-day event. The top 100 internet celebrities and Cosplayers will also be specially invited to attend this event. People from around the world are warmly invited to attend this festival in Miaoli County.
